'' This seminar provides a framework and a vocabulary on Project Management. It is directed toward Project Managers and Program Managers who must deal not only with today’s complex systems requirements, planning and tracking activities, but who must also be able to manage and control subcontractors and/or other suppliers of part of the project’s deliverables or services. It also addresses the added project management complexity where the project is divided across multi-sites that may be in different countries, with very different cultures.

Learning Objectives:
Provide participants with an overview of critical Project Management functions and support functions that help a Project or Program Manager to manage and control his/her project better.
Upon successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

Understand what today’s situation is in software
Define the basic Requirements Engineering functions
Integrate all of the Project Management functions into a comprehensible perspective
Utilize the Software Quality Assurance functions to support Project Management needs
Utilize the Software Configuration Management functions to support Project Management needs
Understand the collective importance of the quality control functions of Testing and Reviews
Understand how to apply the basic project management functions and support functions to manage and control Supplier Agreements
Handle some of the Multi-Site issues confronting organizations today from a business perspective ...''
