'' Team leaders need more than theory; they need to know the "how to" of developing an effective team. Teams naturally move through stages of development, and being able to recognize at which stage a team is situated will determine the approach to be taken. In this workshop participants will learn to establish the team, choose the best method of making decisions, develop constructive communication channels, and determine the roles and responsibilities individuals within the team will have.

This workshop will use a mix of self-assessment tools, team activities, small and large group discussion. Key models and strategies will be introduced through both experiential activity and short theory pieces. Reflections on past experiences and ideas for future approaches will be utilized.
