Course Description:

'' This is a very "hands-on" workshop, integrating the theory of project management (PM) with its application in the real world. The instructor, Janice Petley, presents new material using thought provoking computer-projected slides. The "real world" application of PM principles are driven home through anecdotes from Janice’s own PM background.

Participants are encouraged to relate their own project experiences and voice concerns over how the methodologies can be applied to their working environment. In small groups, participants assume project team roles and apply the newly learned PM methods to a realistic workshop that builds throughout the workshop.

Full-text workshop reference book which parallels the workshop content and serves as an excellent project management
Resource tool after the workshop complete copy of workshop slides with ample room to take notes
Sample project management workplan templates for use during workshops
Glossary of common project management terminology
Reprints of project management articles
