'' This is a comprehensive 10 week program that will enable members to be job ready placing them as an employee of preference. This program offers an extensive portfolio of practical hands-on experience and covers the following objectives;
- Identify general safety rules - Describe different types and issues of drawings for pile driving - Identify features, views, lines, symbols, and abbreviations used on drawings for pile driving, bridges, and marine construction - Identify the applications of transits and theodolites - Use ratio (proportions), Pythagoras theorem and basic algebra for layout - Describe layout of piling and structures on land and over water - Layout of foundation piles and cap using tapes, strings lines, and spikes - Describe construction of steel and PC-PS concrete pile bents and piers - Define deep foundations, piles, caissons and drilled shafts - Describe procedures for rigging up a crane pile driving rig ready to drive piles - Describe the oxy-fuel process and its applications�
