Course Description:
'' This program is designed to prepare graduates to plan, market, and deliver safe and effective fitness, wellness and healthy lifestyle programs. Our goal is to have students develop current, practical knowledge and skills in such areas as the development, implementation and evaluation of fitness and wellness programs, health promotion, lifestyle management, fitness assessments, leadership, safety and injury management. Throughout the program our aim is to have students gain and build on their communication, leadership, interpersonal, and technical skills.

Industry certifications have become a benchmark used by employers in the hiring process. The Fitness and Lifestyle Management program helps students prepare for certification in the following areas: (CanFitPro) certifications in:
