Course Description:

'' The centre offers Grammar lessons for Elementary level and Intermediate level students which has the flexibility for students to be enrolled immediately without having to wait for a new intake. The topics covered in the grammar lessons are modular in approach, thus allowing students to attend the classes more freely. The units are organized in grammatical categories and are not ordered in according to level of difficulty, so it can be used selectively and flexibly. All students intending to attend the grammar courses are required to sit for a placement test at no cost at all.
The centre also offers a course on English Pronunciation which focuses on the phonemes used in English dictionaries. The course helps students discover appropriate English pronunciations which are necessary to communicate more effectively in English. Pronunciation is important for both speaking and listening and this course will also help you with your listening.
Students who are interested in this course can attend classes simply without having to worry about the sequence as they are not ordered progressively which makes it convenient for the student to attend the classes as and when they please.
Everyday English is another course that is offered by Laures Learning Centre. This course aims to improve the learner’s day to day conversation skills. Various themes are covered to give the learner an idea on how to converse with ease in a social environment. Since the course is ordered in a modular basis, as one module represents one theme, students are free to choose which theme they are interested to attend as one module is not dependent on another module.
Again, all these translate to convenience and flexibility for the busy but interested student.
Students intending to further their studies at universities in English-speaking nations can enroll themselves in our IELTS preparatory courses. There are two options available namely the extensive course and the workshop.
The extensive course is a 100-hour course and the workshop on the other hand which is a 16-hour workshop, is for students who are already at an intermediate level and require some familiarization with the IELTS exam.
