'' This course provides practical information and skills to resolve conflict caused by differences in goals, employee performance and work habits. In this course, participants will define the causes of conflict; understand conflict management concepts and styles; assess their current strengths and areas for improvement in resolving conflicts; use specific communication skills to clarify and understand issues, interests and concerns; apply the conflict resolution process to everyday work situations; and set goals for building competency in the use of conflict resolution skills and methods. NOTES The Continuing Education department at Aurora College, Aurora Campus has a shared understanding with Vancouver Community College to offer a Leadership Certificate. The program consists of 12, one-day courses. Students who successfully complete all 12 courses will receive a Certificate in Leadership from the Vancouver Community College. ...''
