Course Description:

'' This course will provide the students with the practical knowledge needed to keep a basic set of computerized accounting records for a business, including creating accounting entries for sales, purchases, cash receipts, cash payments, inventory, payroll, and general journal entries. The course includes study of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, and Project Costing modules. This course will also provide students with the knowledge of how accounts are set up and linked to make the program work. The student will be able to prepare computerized financial statements. The student will interpret financial statements and make decisions concerning required adjustments to the financial statements. The students will also have an introduction to the payroll module including adding and maintaining employee information and how to process a basic business payroll. ...''
