Course Description:

'' HOW DOES IT WORK ?
After evaluating your current French level, a teacher will organise with you a two hour French weekly lesson at a day and time most convenient to you. The lesson will take place via Internet with Skype. After each lesson, the teacher will send one to two hour of homework for the student to complete before the following lesson. Every homework is corrected by the teacher.

it is crucial in order to make real progress! The homework’,s purpose is to allow the student to practise the new elements taught during the lesson as well as to acquire new vocabulary and idiomatic expressions. Before each sessions, the teacher will send you some documents by email which you have to print-out and before attending the class. Documents comprises, the topics or chapters of the day. Following to that, adjectives, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, as an additional information which will be debate and explain promptly. Role play is very important during class, as it allow the students to practice conversation and get use to the phonetics. Extra time can be allocated without any charges, if more detail need to be discussed during the session, flexibility is part of our services.

BOOKS & CDs (MP3)
Attendees will be given information if they wish to buy their own books or the teacher may also send them some copies (PDF) of the class and exercise book for them to follow.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM COMMITMENT?
The minimum commitment is only 2 converstional and paper work session only! Once completed, you are welcome to renew for another 4 or more...

The courses are designed according to the communicative approach.

Communicative approach
The communicative approach states as a basic principle that language is above all an instrument of communication. In this teaching approach, you are required to take an active role in your learning process and to be able to process information.
The communicative approach is based on an analysis of how you will use French in daily life.

�in real situations (e.g., explaining to another student how to ask for an information or giving direction to someone.

�in simulated situations (e.g., play the role of a person at the restaurant ordering food.
 
To be able to communicate in French, you must learn:
�grammar
�spelling
�vocabulary, etc.
 
You must also develop skills in:
�oral and written comprehension
�oral and written expression
�phonetics, etc.

Another approach is - to use english to explain pronunciation . For instance in french ", ", SOUHAITE ", (TO WISH) , but in english, ", SWEAT ", (PERSPIRATION) have the same sound !

Other examples are the, alphabets -
french pronounce as -
C ...... ..........................SAY
D.................................DAY

......etc.
