Course Description:

'' Managers and project team leaders will learn the critical techniques required to plan and organise projects successfully. Factors that impact on project productivity �such as selection, organisation and monitoring of human, physical and information resources are also explored.
The program provides an overview of the nine knowledge areas of project management and relates them in practical ways to the field of project management as set out in The Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide ®) 2004, produced by the Project Management Institute.

The people skills of project management �communication, leadership and negotiation
The four phases of the project �initiation, development, implementation and finalisation.
Learning Outcomes
As a result of attending this program, participants should be able to:

Develop a project strategy which will lead to an effective overall project plan
Build a suitable project structure and team
Manage the relationships with all stakeholders
Develop techniques for monitoring, controlling and reporting project progress
