'' Behavioural interviewing is a powerful staff selection technique that helps the interviewer to build a realistic picture of candidates. Also known as ‘behavioural event�and ‘competency based�interviewing, this technique improves on traditional interviewing methods by enhancing the validity and reliability of selection decisions. This program will give participants the tools to run their own behavioural interviews and a perspective on non-behavioural approaches to interviewing. Participants will also gain insights into improving the whole selection process from designing the interview through to reference checking.
