Course Description:

'' AIM’s Women in Leadership program has been designed to assist emerging women managers to make the transition to more senior leadership positions and establish their own leadership style. Using the experiences of motivational speakers including Lois Frankel, author of ’Nice Girls Don’t get the Corner Office’, interactive workshops and mentoring, participants will build skills in areas that many women find challenging, such as negotiation and assertiveness.
The program will also provide inspiration through guest speakers as role models. Participants will examine the image they project through the verbal and non-verbal language they use, appearance, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will then develop a personal action plan to work towards projecting an image that is consistent with how they want others to see them.
