Course Description:

'' An intensive two-day program developed for people in supervisory and team leadership positions. Supervisors and managers build on their existing skills and knowledge and explore the more challenging responsibilities of team leadership, conflict resolution, stress management, performance management and managing relationships with significant stakeholders. Participants who have completed The New Supervisor program will find that The Experienced Supervisor builds on skills developed in the earlier program. The program will also benefit participants with at least 12 months supervisory exprience who wish to enhance their existing supervisor and leadership capabilities.

Learning outcomes

Model high standards of management performance.
Examine different models of leadership and ways that the qualities, behaviour and strategies of effective leaders can enhance an organisation’s performance.
Explore strategies for developing empowered teams who take ownership for results.
Identify the key components of an effective performance management system.

Build and maintain positive relationships with staff and other people in the organisation.
