'' The Communications & Presentation Skills Worksop is an interactive professional
development session that will give participants an opportunity to improve relationships
between representatives of the Superannuation Industry and their clients.
Many people rate public speaking as the thing they fear the most. But in today’s business
world, public speaking and an ability to deliver a professional and dynamic presentation is
essential.
This workshop has been specifically developed for the Superannuation Industry to focus on
the challenges faced by staff who are responsible for developing and maintaining client
relationships and gives participants the tools to improve their public speaking and
presentation skills.
Workshop Topics
�Understanding the power of effective communication;
�How to deliver clear jargon free information to your clients
�Maximising the outcomes of your presentations and meetings
�Understanding the importance of preparation;
�Refine your presentation planning skills and gain valuable insight into what to do in
the preparation process;
�How to assess your audience;
�How to be confident that you know and understand your audience and their
drivers and motivation;
�The importance of using jargon-free language;
�Make sure your audience is not saying �‘what did they just say or mean� �How to define the objectives of your presentation;
�Understand what you want to achieve from your presentation and meeting �have
a firm view in your own mind what you hope to achieve;
�How to engage with your audience;
�Become skilled in making sure you engage and connect with your audience
�How to leave a positive lasting impression;
�Make your presentations or attendance at meetings �memorable and leaving
your audience wanting further interaction with you and your organisation; ...''
