'' This new two-day training course was developed in conjunction with the Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors (CAODC). The course is intended for workers and other personnel involved in drilling and service rig operations. Topics include: Fall protection principles Anchorages Body support devices Connecting components Devices Life lines Ladder-climbing techniques. The hands-on portion of the training includes climbing to height using fall protection equipment, work positioning, anchorage connection and transfer between fall protection systems. Successful completion of the course requires that participants be in good physical condition and be able to climb to a height of approximately four metres. ...''
