'' Deakin’s Master of Commercial Law reflects the School of Law’s commitment to being a significant centre for teaching and research in commercial law.
The course is available to graduates in any discipline who wish to complete a specialist qualification in commercial law.
Commercial law is such a vast and constantly changing area that it is inevitably the domain of those with highly specialised expertise. The course aims to extend the influence of legal expertise beyond a narrow legal framework. In doing so, we seek to enhance the capacity of our graduates to deal with legal issues through an associated understanding of the broader corporate/policy issues.
The course is designed for students who have a general interest in commercial law and those who wish to learn more about specific areas of law. Units cover key areas such as corporations law, income tax, international commercial law, internet law, corporate governance and trade practices. ...''
