'' In the past decade, the number of Canadian teachers studying with CSU at the Masters level has increased. The Master of International Education (School Leadership) has resulted from intense collaboration between CSU and the Ontario Principals�Council (OPC). The program is contemporary, exciting and relevant.

The Master of International Education (School Leadership) provides:

a distinctive postgraduate qualification, developed through consultation with practising principals, that meets the professional needs of contemporary school leaders
an international perspective throughout the program that supports candidates to understand and respond to local policy and practice through a broader ’global’ perspective
candidates with a set of theoretical, intellectual and methodological tools that allows them to base their professional practice and growth on well founded reading, critical enquiry and research
opportunities for candidates, particularly through assessment practices, to apply research in school leadership within the context of their work environment
course materials and tasks that are theoretically and intellectually challenging, but are grounded in practice and relevance
the highest levels of social and ethical responsibility permeating all subjects and areas of enquiry.
The mixed mode of delivery in the Master of International Education (School Leadership) is supported by a strong learning community which allows you to customize a study schedule to meet your needs.

Specialist courses will focus on international perspectives and include the potential to incorporate overseas professional visits. Respected educational leaders from the OPC and CSU will be involved in the course delivery, and all courses will be focused on leadership.

Benefits of the course
The Master of International Education (School Leadership) is based at CSU’s Ontario Campus located in Burlington and is aimed at aspiring and current school leaders.

Within the program, you can receive credit for up to five courses, including the Principal Qualification Program (Standard and the OPC’s Masters Dimension), the Experienced Principal’s Development Course, Additional Qualification Specialists and other courses deemed relevant by the Course Coordinator.

The mixed mode of delivery (face-to-face and distance education) allows candidates to customize their program to meet their personal study schedule.
