'' In this course you will develop a high level of expertise in a functional area of business and management through an in-depth study of business law.
In your first semester you will be introduced to the basic legal concepts and areas of law you’re likely to confront as a manager. It will provide you with an analytical framework for addressing legal issues and emphasises legal problem-solving through the application of prior decisions (precedent cases) in a number of key areas of business law.
In your final semester, you will complete an individual research project and dissertation under the guidance of one of our experienced supervisors.
Your core studies will be complemented throughout the course with specialist subjects chosen to suit your current and future career needs. Law topics available include, public administration, company secretarial practice, occupational health and safety (OHS) and human resources, international business, criminal, contract, internet law and many others. ...''
