'' The goal of this course is to initiate the student to the techniques of draping on a standard mannequin, and to make the student understand the mutual interaction of different parts in the construction of a pattern. By means of various procedures and practical exercises focused on sleeves, necks, different bodices, corsages and skirts, the student will gain skill in using the draping method, and will explore the procedures involved in constructing, modifying, and adjusting a pattern or garment.
