'' Understand the different aspects of legislation in matters of heath and safety in the working environment. Develop a general understanding of all aspects affecting the safety and security in construction sites. Identify established constraints within a working milieu and their effects upon the worker.

The laws and regulations concerning health and safety in construction sites. The aggressors in construction. Hygiene. Organization of security. The information and protection of the public. Equipment of individual and collective protection. Maintenance of sites. Means of access to work and protection against falling. General equipment and fixtures. Scaffolding. Heavy machinery. Excavation and trenches. Electricity. Procedures of intervention in case of an accident and the allocation of responsibilities in the construction site. Ergonomics and the quality of the working equipment. Composition of a preventive program. Organization of building industry; duties, rights, responsibilities and relationships of owner, architect, engineer, contractor, sub-contractor, supplier and workman. Establishments, maintenance and extinction of lien rights. ...''
