'' The Grant MacEwan Nurse Refresher program offered through Columbia College is a distance delivery program. Learners can access materials, receive instructor support on an appointment basis at Columbia College, and do self- study at home. Hands-on clinical experiences are arranged once theory and nursing skills modules are completed. Students can start the program at anytime. Students have up to 15 months to complete the program.
Calgary is experiencing a Registered Nursing shortage. Columbia College in collaboration with Grant MacEwan can help you refresh your nursing skills and can update you on recent changes in health care in Alberta. This program is designed to meet the needs of previously Registered Nurses (RN) who have been away from practice for 5 years or more. ...''
