Course Description:
'' The IFSA Introduction to Unit Pricing program provides a sound introduction to
key aspects of unit pricing and its application to investment valuations within the
Australian financial services industry.
By completing this program participants will gain an introduction to, and awareness of:
�an introduction to unit pricing and associated industry terminology;
�an understanding of statutory and other unit pricing obligations;
�an awareness of the joint ASIC and APRA guide to good practice in unit pricing;
�an understanding of the key aspects of IFSA Standards Nos. 8 & 9;
�an awareness of key issues associated with equitable unit pricing; and
�an awareness of errors in unit pricing.
This program is designed to provide introductory training for individual practitioners who are new to
unit pricing as well as other individuals within the industry who require a general awareness of the
principles, terminologies and practices of unit pricing. This includes product, accounting, compliance
and audit personnel as well as customer services officers and others who deal directly with customers
and unitised funds.
The program is a distance based learning program that is accessed entirely online. It includes a training
manual, additional regulatory and industry reference guides as well as an online assessment process.

�Statutory & other Obligations;
�ASIC/APRA Unit Pricing Guide to Good Practice;
