Course Description:
'' The Diploma of Financial Services (FNS 50104) is suitable for people ideally seeking to be, or currently employed in the financial services industry and have access to a financial institution for research purposes. In addition to the 4 core and 6 financial services electives, you can choose 2 electives from the Marketing, Operational, HR, Financial or General Management Streams.
The Diploma of Financial Services is one of the qualifications recognised by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) as fulfilling the requirements of a Nominated Responsible Officer under Policy Statement 164 as well as at least 3 years relevant experience over the immediate past 5 years.
To attain a Diploma of Financial Services, twelve (12) units of competence must be achieved as follows:
Four (4) compulsory industry core units; plus Six (6) Financial Services units; and Up to two (2) electives from the Financial Services, Marketing, Operational, HR, Financial or General Management Training Package. Four Industry Core Units (compulsory)
