'' JCU’s postgraduate journalism programs are designed for:

Journalism and non-journalism graduates who wish to gain practical journalism skills or gain an advanced level of professional skills such as those necessary for investigative journalism;

those already working in media industries who are seeking formal qualifications and wish to upgrade their skills to a more advanced level.

Journalism graduates and those with substantial professional experience may be eligible for credit in JN5500. Subjects successfully completed for the Graduate Certificate may be credited towards the Graduate Diploma of Journalism.

Select at least 12 credit points (two subjects):

EL5501:06 Creative Non-fiction (block mode)

JN5500:06 Writing for Newspapers (block mode)
