'' International Trade - International trade agreements have increased the global business community. Working in global markets is lucrative and competitive. Learn cutting edge business and international trade skills through the International Trade Diploma at Vancouver Career College. This intensive program, which runs for 32 weeks, teaches current and relevant industry skills as per the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT). The FITT courses are accredited by the International Association of Trade Training (IATTO), which is recognized by 26 countries. The program focuses on several core areas. Courses examine cross-cultural business practices, entry strategies for international markets and import/export planning. Additional subjects include specialized marketing techniques, global trade trends, negotiation strategies and trade regulations. During the program, students develop their own real-life business plan and skills portfolio to utilize during the job search following graduation. Five weeks of on-the-job training prepares students to enter the world of international business. Graduates receive an International Trade Diploma and also receive the prestigious designation of Certified International Trade Professional (CITP). Graduates are trained to own or manage an import/export business of any size. Other positions include international research, international marketing, international buying, international banking and sales, and more. Graduates applying for customs or consulate positions also benefit from this program. ...''
