We aim to help our students on getting the necessary training to start their careers. Our mission is assisting them to update their knowledge and skills to reach the Canadian standards. Our focus is, but not exclusively, on the fields of Information Technology, Finance, and Management. We offer training courses include Quality Assurance, Oracle, Cognos, CSC, PMP, CFA, .Net, and Java courses. Another part of our mission is to provide project experience courses for our students. Our students are doing actual projects that can usually be found in the work field, rather than studying the theoretic methods. They perform practical applications and get familiar with procedures of the projects, thereby prepare themselves for the real tasks in the future. Instructor: Mr. Wayne Tam, PMP, MBA. He is an experienced senior project manager who was worked for CIBC, Royal Bank, IBM, Rogers, Nortel, Ontario Government, Kraft, and etc. Mr. Tam is very public-spirited and gave a series of lectures about career development in communities that help a lot of new immigrants.
Course Benefits All projects involve some degree of risk. Project success depends on superior management which provides assurance and reduces risk. Professional management provides the methods and strategies to plan, monitor, track, and manage schedules, resources, costs and quality. It provides a metric base for future planning as well as good documentation. In this course, you will acquire the essential skills in planning, managing and delivering projects. You also learn the entire project management processes and get the chance to work on some real-world cases through the workshop courses.
Prospective Student This course is valuable for professionals new to project management or those who are interested in obtaining the PMP designation and / or acquiring certain levels of project management skills. A Bachelor degree or three-year diploma in any field of study with three-year working experience at minimum are required.
