'' The principal objective of this program is to train ICT professionals in the rapidly-growing field of mobile and telecommunications technology. It aims to produce specialists with the skills and experience to satisfy the huge demand expected in the field in the next 20 years. The course is expected to provide graduates with ample employment opportunities in the ICT industry, particularly in those areas concerned with mobile computing and telecommunications.
Course structure Students can enrol in one of the following two course options: Option 1 with major coursework thesis: nine subjects plus a major coursework thesis in mobile and pervasive computing. Option 2 with minor coursework thesis: eleven subjects plus a minor coursework thesis in mobile and pervasive computing. Coursework subjects can include: - Mobile and pervasive computing - Pervasive network design - Wired and wireless networks - Network systems and security - Systems engineering - Web application engineering - An advanced software engineering project - Telecommunications ...''
