'' This specialised course provides students with a strong base in technical concepts and design techniques, as well as strong management and teamwork skills in the development of multiple software products for a variety of industries. The course is distinguished by its advanced and specialised subjects in software engineering. Students undertake a research thesis in software engineering, which can lead to further research opportunities such as a PhD.
Course structure Students can enrol in one of the following two course options: Option 1 with major coursework thesis: ten subjects plus a major coursework thesis in software engineering. Option 2 with minor coursework thesis: twelve subjects plus a minor coursework thesis in software engineering. Specialised subjects can include databases, systems design and testing, and a software development project. ...''
