Course Description:
'' The Keyboard Department offers lessons to suit all ages, interests, and learning styles. Most students register for private/individual studio lessons, but the Conservatory also offers a wide variety of group instruction for both children and adults. A specific teacher may be requested; otherwise the Department Head will recommend a teacher based on the student’s needs. The Conservatory has keyboard instructors fluent in English, French, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin.
Individual Instruction
One-on-one studio instruction is the basis of our teaching. Our dedicated faculty offers a wide variety of successful approaches to match the learning style of any student.
Many Conservatory piano students affirm their progress through the Victoria Conservatory Examination Syllabus, which provides music examinations from the preliminary level through Grade 11 (AVCM). Spring examinations are held in Victoria and in Surrey, or we will bring a VCM Examiner to your community if you have a full day or more of examination candidates.
