'' The VCM has a rich resource of approximately 30 teachers, a dedicated faculty in the disciplines of violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar (both classical and electric), harp, historical instruments and folk fiddling. VCM teachers provide a variety of the most up to date tuition and modalities in individual and group classes for beginners, accomplished solo performers, chamber ensemble artists, orchestral players, and for teachers in training.

The faculty strives to achieve a beneficial match of student and teacher. VCM strings students have, and continue to achieve, significant awards in local, provincial, national and international competitions, Festivals and official examinations. Graduates of the Post Secondary Diplomas have gone on to distinguished degree programs and careers.The VCM offers a comprehensive Examination Syllabus at all levels from beginners to Diploma status. ...''
