Course Description:

'' We are a privately owned Travel and Tourism College situated in Randpark Ridge and have been operational for 10 years

We take only 60 students at the college and all students work towards achvieving a Diploma in Retail Travel and Wholesale Travel.

Once our students have completed their year of theory they need to complete a six month practical in industry, prior to graduation.

The course we offer is very ",hands on", as we are mostly industry people at the college and try to acknowledge and work with what is required by industry.

Certificate in General Travel with the following subjects :

Selling Destinations 1 ( here they are taught Southern Africa from a tourist aspect )
Tourism Development 1
Business Communication 1
DTT1 ( Fares & Ticketing - within Africa )
Computers
Travel Operations ( where the students are taught how to make reservations for trains, car hire, bus, hotel accommodation, tours etc and also to issue the relevant documentation )
Financial Management 1
Sales & Marketing 1
Hotel Reception & Front Desk
Computers

Diploma in Retail Travel and a Diploma in Wholesale Travel
(international level)

Selling Destinations 2 (The World from a travel perspective)
Tourism Development 2
Travel Operations 2 (here they are taught the international side of all reservations and we include foreign exchange and travel insurance)
DTT2 (Fares & Ticketing - Beginners International)
Entrepreneurship
