'' The Recreational Pilot Permit allows you to fly a single engine aircraft with a maximum of four seats anywhere in Canada with one passenger only.
Island Pacific Flight Academy offers the Recreational Pilot Permit based on the minimum of 25 hours of flight training required by Transport Canada. Of that a minimum of 15 hours must be dual instruction and 5 hours solo flight time. There is also a 40 hour ground school program.
