'' If you’re looking to own and/or manage residential lettings then you’ll need to hold a Resident Letting Agents Licence. Kaplan Professional’s Resident Letting Agent’s Licence program provides you with the educational requirement to apply to the QLD Office of Fair Trading for a Resident Letting Agents Licence. The QLD Resident Letting Agents Licence Program comprises six (6) units of competency.

This program provides participants with the knowledge and relevant education in order to apply for a Resident Letting Agents Licence with the QLD Office of Fair Trading. Resident Letting Agents may purchase either permanent or holiday lettings. (It should be noted that RLA’s need body corporate approval to purchase management rights and must reside on the premises unless they have a full real estate agents licence).

Once participants have submitted all relevant assessment tasks and have been assessed as competent they will be issued with a Statement of Attainment confirming competency in the 6 units. ...''
