This course will discuss the concept of a workteam, provide an insight as to why teams are used in the workplace and identify the characteristics of an effective team. .Characteristics of effective teams is the first course (of two) in the program Managing and developing teams.
By completing this course you will be able to:
Understand team building or development and stage progression - forming, storming, norming, and performing Identify the characteristics of an effective team - profile of eight key characteristics Understand differing workteam style and model, including selection of optimal team size If you work through the course without a break, you should be able to complete it within approximately 60 minutes.
