'' Before commencing a project, it is vital to define and control what is or what is not to be included as projects may involve a few work tasks or many thousands. In this course you will be given an insight into Project Scope Management which describes the processes required to ensure that the project includes all the work required, and only the work required, to complete the project successfully. This Project Scope Management course is aligned with the nine Knowledge Areas of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and forms part of the accredited Level IV program.

At the completion of this section, you should be able to:

Understand and explain the relationship of Project Scope Management to the Project Life Cycle
Define and control what is or is not included in a project.
Understand and explain a SOW and Scope of Work
Use methods of analysis such as ROI, NPV and WBS
There are no set time expectations for completion of this course. The course is designed to be self-paced and you should navigate through at your own rate. If you work through the course without a break, you should be able to complete it within two to four hours. The course comprises of two sections (excluding overview), which may be completed separately. These sections typically require around one to two hours to complete.
