'' As a project manager, a common pitfall is to get buried in day-to-day operations and forget about your real goals - to meet the project’s goals with appropriate quality. In this course you will be given an insight into Project Quality Management, which includes the processes required to ensure that the project will satisfy the needs for which it was undertaken. This Project Quality Management course is aligned with the nine Knowledge Areas of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and forms part of the accredited Level IV program.

At the completion of this section, you should be able to:

Understand and explain the relationship of Project Quality Management to the Project Life Cycle
Identify which quality standards are relevant to the project and determine how to satisfy them
Evaluate overall project performance on a regular basis to provide confidence that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards
Monitor specific project results to determine if they comply with relevant quality standards and identify ways to eliminate causes of unsatisfactory performance.
There are no set time expectations for completion of this course. The course is designed to be self-paced and you should navigate through at your own rate. If you work through the course without a break, you should be able to complete it within two to four hours. The course comprises of two sections (excluding overview), which may be completed separately. These sections typically require around one to two hours to complete.
