'' Canadian Health Care Academy has taken the 52-week Practical Nursing program to a new level by including over 790 clinical hours to the required curriculum as laid out by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. Our experienced instructors train our students to become confident in their ability to enter the health care industry with the knowledge and tools essential to this diverse field. Over 90% of our students have completed the national licensure exam the first time written.
Program Overview:
· Over 550 hours of supervised clinical practice in both long term and acute care settings.
· 185 hours of preceptorship experience.
· Weekly practice in a fully equipped on-site nursing laboratory.
· 790 hours of Instructor led classroom instruction
