'' Training will illustrate how to select the appropriate response to a given incident. The instruction will give students the tools necessary to, firstly evaluate the situation, choose the appropriate response, perform the required technique and then re-evaluate the situation, to most effectively manage the conflict at hand.

Skills such as active listening and verbal deflection will teach attendees how to gain voluntary compliance. Concepts of personal safety like proxemics and recognizing non-verbal behaviors will reinforce that self-preservation is the first priority. Scenario training followed by incident report writing exercises will demonstrate the principles of conflict management in a practical manner.
