'' IP telephony combines the capabilities of both telephony and computers using an integrated infrastructure based on Internet protocol (IP).
Different forms of communication (voice, data, images, video) can be processed and transmitted by the same infrastructure.
Today, enterprise telephony is constantly evolving towards IP telephony. In response to this evolution, the IP Telephony Development program trains students for this important transformation. Students learn the principles of voice over IP applications, including IP telephony, video, and other real-time interpersonal communication applications.
