Course Description:
'' This course examines the composition of various departments in a clinical laboratory. It also focuses on the extent to which medical laboratory procedures are integrated in clinical laboratory departments. In providing a much better understanding of both the inner and outer shells of clinical laboratories, emphasis will be placed on the definition, terminology and purpose of selected medical laboratory tests and pathological reports. It will also cover basic procedures in hematology, clinical chemistry, and microbiology departments. Basic procedures in urology are introduced, and this is extended in MLA220. ...''
