'' This course begins with an introduction to the study of law, and includes how torts affect business relationships. Specific topics to be considered include assault and battery, false intentional torts, negligence and strict liability as applied to persons, property and imprisonment, invasion of privacy, trespasses, breach of contract, contributory negligence, assumption of risk, no-fault system, and workers compensation. Students will examine the courts handling of the question of damages, including the concept of apportionment and other remedies for personal and business recovery from tortfeasors. ...''
