'' This course introduces the student to the problem-solving approach to planning for care of those in need. Students will learn how to assess the needs of their clients, and how to deliver the proper care required. Topics will also include proper report writing and sourcing-out references and referral services for clients and their families. This course will explore various orientations to healing after a death or tragedy. Special emphasis will be placed on the roles of groups in facilitating healing, including distinction between different types of groups and their appropriate use for care-giving. ...''
