There is a set of core values, which practitioners must uphold in their relationships with their clients, members of their own profession, other health care providers, and the public. Medical and legal issues. For example, it is necessary for the practitioners to ensure that clinical practice is authorized by informed consent and within relevant law governing consent and choice. Practice management. How to run a TCM clinic requires some specific knowledge and skills, which should be acquired in advance of setting up a clinic. Communication skills. Practitioners must learn the skills of communicating not only with the clients, but also with other health care professionals about the clients care. ...''
