Course Description:
'' New Image movie making teen program for aspiring actors under seventeen. In our teen acting program the focus in to produce a short film over the course of four weeks. In 80 hours, that is four hours a day from Monday to Friday, the teens will create and workshop the script they will star in. Each scene will be fully developed, and each actor will learn the technicalities of acting in front of a camera.
One important element of the summer teen acting program is that it focuses on the importance of teamwork. Each student will have the opportunity to learn how to operate a professional camera, as well as contribute in all aspects of production from holding the boom microphone to developing schedules to working the all important lighting.
By the end each student will know what it takes to create their own short film. Directed by an award winning professional the short film these students take home will be a tribute to their own creative spirits. ...''
