Course Description:

'' The human obsession for the undraped figure started with female figurines, roughly carved, in the Stone Age. The photographic nude can be a landscape nude or a nude in a landscape. The nude can be at home or in a studio. We shall review all these options.
Students will be able to use both digital or film cameras. I have a special fondness for shooting nudes with b+w infrared film so we will learn to shoot with this film. Most lighting setups will be with one light. Students will master this valuable photographic technique. While tudents will be encouraged to shoot nudes outside class hours on their own time, the course will include five studio sessions with two undraped models. This will provide the students with the proper guidance on how to deal with nude models in a studio situation. ...''
