1. How long does it take to do the course?
a. Three nights and two full days (Sat/Sun) 30 hours total with additional 30hrs reading and 60 hrs self-paced at home study. So approximately 4 weeks at an easy pace.
2. Is this course internationally recognized?
a. Yes, TESOL certificates are internationally recognized as the qualification for teaching English as a second language overseas.
3. Is this course an Australian Cert IV?
b. No, it is not necessary to have a Cert IV to work internationally teaching TESOL in fact Australian qualifications are not recognized overseas only in Australia.
4. Where can I work overseas with this certificate?
a. Anywhere where English is taught as a second language
5. Do I need a degree to teach overseas?
a. No, you can work in China, Laos, some Eastern European counties and more. Countries such as Korea, Germany require a degree and Japan if you are over 30 yrs of age
6. Is this course difficult?
a. No, the assignments consist of multiple choice, reading and activities completed in the in-class portion of the course.
7. Can I study this course online only?
a. Yes, all materials are available for study online.
8. Do you provide help finding jobs overseas?
a. Yes, for native English speakers who complete the course.
9. Does the course include practicum/teaching experience opportunites?
a. Yes, unlike many courses our course gives you the chance to observe and teach in a ‘real�language school.
