About DipIFR Programme
An ideal diploma to assess competency in IFRS is the Diploma in International Financial Reporting (Dip IFR) which is set and accredited by ACCA. More and more countries around the world are moving to international standards of financial reporting. The European Union had required all listed companies to prepare their accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards by 2005. India has stated that all listed companies will have to comply with IFRS by 2011.

ACCA has recognised this trend and was the first organisation to deliver a qualification which is dedicated to training employees in how to apply International Financial Reporting Standards, no matter where you are in the world. The qualification is intended as a conversion course for professional accountants already qualified or experienced in country specific financial reporting standards.

The Diploma programme addresses international financial reporting and first time application of international financial reporting standards. The course is designed to be flexible, so that the Diploma can be completed in three to six months. This will vary according to your individual capabilities and the time you have available to study.

The material is always intended for use both in the training room and for reference afterwards.
