'' With more transports on the road than ever before, truck and trailer maintenance is a key component in ensuring road safety and optimum performance so that we can keep freight moving along our North American highways. The value of a competent, skilled, and professional service technician is therefore exceedingly high.

Our Commercial Truck & Trailer Service Technician Pre-Apprenticeship Training course has been specifically designed to provide you with the hands-on experience necessary to prepare you for your career. We offer a seven-week basic and a ten-week advanced program to suit your needs. A fully-equipped training room, along with access to five large truck and trailer bays and a number of trailers and class 8 trucks, are available to provide optimal first-hand, practical training.

Classroom instruction and practice labs are accompanied by an optional paid internship of up to ten weeks with an employer who will provide the working environment necessary to enhance your skills and potential.

Standard First Aid and CPR
WHMIS training and certification
Preventative maintenance laws and standards
Commercial vehicle operating systems
Basic engine, drive train, suspension, and brake component services

Air brake ("Z") endorsement training and certification*
Air brake adjustment training and certification*
