Course Description:

'' The objective of the Intra-Oral Dental Assisting program is to train students to attain skills and demonstrate competence in essential dental office procedures and laboratory techniques. These areas of study include preliminary examination procedures, assisting at chair side using fourhanded dentistry, charting, appointment scheduling, keeping patient records and sterilizing instruments. The assistant can also expose and develop radiographs. Students receive extensive training in all intra-oral skills.
