'' The Make up Artistry program equips students with the essential skills and knowledge required to work in today’s rapidly changing make up industry. The program is designed for the student who is serious about becoming an editorial or runway make up artist.
An introduction to the major players, image-makers and trend setters in the field, including designers, photographers and artists, will assist students in understanding the dynamics of the make up industry. Students will learn how to plan and execute a successful photo shoot, editorial or runway show, how to use professional techniques to create a wide range of looks, from simple and natural, to the very exotic, and how to achieve a classic bridal or red carpet look.
Field trips and guest speakers are also key components of a program designed to provide students with the most up-to-date technical skills and expertise, as well as understanding of the latest industry trends, developments, expectations and opportunities.
